Blueleaf Energy Reaches Financial Close for 200 MW Wind and Solar Plant in India

Blueleaf Energy, a Leading Pan-Asian Renewable Energy Platform, Secures Financing for Hybrid Project

Financing Provided by Axis Bank to Generate Over 600 GWh Annually

Blueleaf Energy, a pan-Asian renewable energy platform owned by a Macquarie Asset Management managed fund, has achieved financial close for its 200 MW Pachora Hybrid project in India. The financing was provided by Axis Bank and will enable the development and construction of a hybrid wind and solar power plant in the state of Maharashtra.

The Pachora Hybrid project will consist of 100 MW of wind and 100 MW of solar generation capacity. Once operational, the project is expected to generate over 600 GWh of clean energy annually, which is equivalent to powering over 500,000 homes and offsetting over 600,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The financial close for the Pachora Hybrid project marks a significant milestone for Blueleaf Energy as it expands its renewable energy portfolio in India. The project will contribute to India's target of generating 40% of its electricity from non-fossil fuel sources by 2030.

Blueleaf Energy has been at the forefront of developing renewable energy projects in Asia. The company has a strong track record of developing and operating solar and wind projects in India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The Pachora Hybrid project is a testament to Blueleaf Energy's commitment to investing in clean energy solutions that address the region's growing energy needs while promoting sustainable development.
