Headlights

Your headlights are more than just lights for driving at night. They are actually a complex system of lights that serve several different purposes. 1. **Low beam headlights** are designed to provide illumination for driving in low-light conditions, such as at night or in fog. They are aimed downwards so that they do not shine in the eyes of oncoming drivers. 2. **High beam headlights** are designed to provide maximum illumination for driving in dark conditions, such as on unlit roads. They are aimed upwards so that they can illuminate as far down the road as possible.

Taillights

Taillights are used to indicate the presence of your vehicle to other drivers, especially at night or in low-light conditions. They are typically red in color and are mounted at the rear of the vehicle. 3. **Brake lights** are activated when you press on the brake pedal. They are used to warn other drivers that you are slowing down or stopping. 4. **Turn signals** are used to indicate your intention to turn or change lanes. They are typically amber in color and are mounted on the front and rear of the vehicle.

Fog lights

Fog lights are designed to provide illumination in foggy conditions. They are typically mounted low on the front of the vehicle so that they can shine through the fog. Fog lights are typically yellow in color because yellow light is less likely to be scattered by fog than white light.

Daytime running lights

Daytime running lights (DRLs) are designed to make your vehicle more visible to other drivers during the day. They are typically mounted on the front of the vehicle and are activated when the engine is running. DRLs are typically white or amber in color.
